A green circle means easy or beginner, a blue square means intermediate, a black diamond means difficult, and a double black diamond means that only great skiers should try the trail. If you’re going out on a trail, keep in mind that the people going down the slope before you have the right away. These means you’ll need to keep your distance to avoid hitting them if they fall. Don’t be overconfident. If you’re a beginner, don’t go on the toughest slopes. This can be a serious risk to yourself and others.
